Lead Product Owner Application Development Service Line
We dream big: we will be the largest AWS Premier Tier Partner in Central and Eastern Europe by 2026.
To realize this dream, we need experienced business people who can help us expand the reach and depth of our AWS service lines in the region.
As a Lead Product Owner at SnapSoft, you'll wear many hats. Your time will be distributed among product management including strategy & discovery, pre-sales activities, client delivery, and improving our internal processes to execute more effectively and efficiently.
Job requirements
Who are you?
Decisive Product Leader - You are a critical thinker who excels at translating client vision into actionable backlogs and concrete value. You are ready to own the product and get the job done.
Driven Problem Solver - You are passionate about solving complex client challenges with technology. You take full ownership of the product's success, from initial discovery to final delivery.
Collaborative Team Player - You thrive on working with cross-functional teams, bridging the gap between client stakeholders, designers, and engineers to build exceptional products.
Empowering Mentor - You are a natural coach who is passionate about developing talent. You lead with empathy, focusing on your team's growth, wellbeing, and empowerment.
Humble Active Listener - You are eager to learn and are centered on the customer. You seek to deeply understand user needs and stakeholder viewpoints to guide the product direction effectively.
What will you do?
Lead and Scale the Product Practice: Provide direct line management, coaching, and career development for a team of Product Owners and Product Designers. You will be responsible for their performance management and professional growth.
Act as a Hands-On "Player-Coach": Serve as the dedicated, hands-on Product Owner on our most strategic and complex AWS cloud-native application development projects, taking direct ownership of their success.
Own and Drive Product Vision: For your assigned projects, you will own the product vision and strategic roadmap. You will manage the product backlog, prioritizing features to maximize the value delivered to the client in every sprint.
Master Stakeholder Relationships: Serve as the primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders, building trust, managing expectations, and ensuring persistent alignment between the project's deliverables and the client's business goals.
Drive Pre-Sales and Solutioning: Collaborate with the sales and solution architecture teams by leading client discovery workshops, defining project scope, and contributing expert product-centric content to proposals.
Develop and Standardize Best Practices: Establish and lead a Product Ownership community of practice. Develop and document the core methodologies, tools, and best practices for the team, ensuring a consistent and high-quality approach to delivery across all projects.
Champion Agile and Technical Excellence: Expertly facilitate key Scrum ceremonies and ensure that product decisions align with the principles of the AWS Well-Architected Framework, guiding both clients and development teams on the business value of non-functional requirements.
What is your experience level?
A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a Product Owner or Product Manager role, with a proven track record of shipping successful software products in a client-facing environment.
At least 2+ years of experience in a formal leadership capacity, with a demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop other product professionals.
Deep expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies, with extensive experience managing product backlogs, writing effective user stories, and leading Scrum events.
Exceptional ability to build relationships and influence senior stakeholders, particularly in a consulting or professional services context where you must drive alignment and consensus.
Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts. Direct experience with AWS services and building cloud-native applications is a significant advantage.
Comfort dealing with ambiguity and uncertainty, with the ability to take complex client problems and break them down into a manageable, prioritized backlog for a delivery team.
Nice-to-have
Experience working within a fast-paced, scale-up technology consulting firm.
A background as a Business Analyst or Software Engineer in a technical domain earlier in your career.
A relevant professional certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or a senior-level Agile certification (e.g., CSP-PO).
