To support that growth we are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Senior Controller to lead and enhance our company's financial controlling strategy.
This role involves a combination of strategic oversight and hands-on operational tasks, including financial planning, cost management, and compliance. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of our financial data, optimizing internal processes, and driving informed decision-making across the organization.

What will you do?
Financial Strategy and Controlling:
Develop and continuously refine the company's controlling strategy to align with business objectives.
Introduce and implement a Management Reporting framework, ensuring timely and accurate monthly reporting.
Design and launch operative and strategic Business Planning processes to guide decision-making.
Data-Driven Insights & Reporting:
Implement BI tools to streamline financial and non-financial performance reporting, delivering actionable insights to key stakeholders.
Create dynamic plan vs. actual comparisons and variance analyses, empowering leaders to take corrective actions and achieve financial targets.
Develop a robust cash flow management system to secure liquidity for growth initiatives.
Accounting & Compliance:
Establish and maintain business-specific accounting requirements (e.g., ledger mappings, job and cost codes), collaborating with outsourced accountants for accurate data provision.
Lead the monthly closing process, including preparing accruals and statutory adjustments.
Ensure balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations are precise and timely.
Oversee annual audits and coordinate inventory preparations.
Ensure full compliance with local tax and accounting regulations, proactively identifying and mitigating financial risks.
Business Partnering & Integration:
Act as a finance business partner, supporting commercial teams on business contracting, pricing strategies, and operational structuring.
Drive the financial integration of new subsidiaries and business lines, ensuring seamless alignment with company processes.
Develop and manage a transfer pricing system to support intercompany transactions.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics
A professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA) is highly desirable
Experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial controlling as individual contributor
Proven experience building a management reporting system from scratch
Proven experience in cash flow management, variance analysis, and financial reporting
Familiarity with transfer pricing and integration of new business lines or subsidiaries
Experience supporting audits and implementing financial controls
Skills
Advanced knowledge of financial and accounting principles, including IFRS/GAAP
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
Day to day use of BI solutions (e.g., PowerBI, Looker, Tableu)
Excellent organizational and project management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Nice-to-have
Familiarity with productivity tools such as Coda, Notion, Confluence
Experience in a software development agency
Proficiency in financial softwares and ERP systems (e.g., Quickbooks, Navision, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
