Job requirements
What you will be doing:
Lead and Cultivate Engineering Talent: Provide direct line management, coaching, and career development for a team of Full-Stack Engineers. You will be responsible for their performance management, professional growth, and for fostering a culture of technical excellence.
Provide Hands-On Technical Leadership: Serve as the dedicated Solutions Architect and technical lead on our most strategic and complex cloud-native application development projects, taking direct ownership of their technical success.
Own and Drive the Technical Vision: For your assigned projects, you will own the technical strategy and architectural roadmap. You will lead architectural reviews, conduct code reviews, and ensure the team adheres to high standards for quality, scalability, and security.
Master Stakeholder Relationships: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for senior client stakeholders, building trust, managing expectations, and ensuring persistent alignment between the project’s technical solution and the client’s business goals.
Champion Agile and Technical Excellence: Drive the adoption of modern engineering practices and tools. You will ensure that technical decisions align with industry-standard architectural principles (such as the AWS Well-Architected Framework) and support the overall project delivery within an Agile environment.
You are looking for us, if you have:
A minimum of 8+ years of experience in a professional software engineering role, with a proven track record of shipping successful, production-grade applications.
At least 3+ years of experience in a formal leadership capacity, with a demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop software engineers.
Deep expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies, with extensive experience leading engineering teams in a consulting or client-facing environment.
Exceptional ability to build relationships and influence senior stakeholders, particularly in a professional services context where you must drive technical alignment and consensus.
Strong, hands-on architectural knowledge of cloud computing, with direct experience designing and delivering complex, cloud-native applications on a major cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Proficiency across the full stack, including modern frontend frameworks (Angular/React), backend services (Node.js, Java, or .NET), and both SQL and NoSQL databases.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps principles.
Nice-to-have
Experience working within a fast-paced, scale-up technology consulting firm.
Significant hands-on experience with the AWS platform and its core services.
AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or other professional-level cloud certifications.
A background as a hands-on Solutions Architect in a technical domain earlier in your career.
Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes or Amazon EKS.
